Welcome
Tasting menu style restaurant, we built SHATO51 with a chef’s table idea, “A chef’s table typically is located in a restaurant kitchen.It is reserved for guests of the chef.” And so we built the seatings around the kitchen. We placed high end Japanese bbq grills around the counter. Our guests are literally 60cm away from the action. We serve only one table per day, allowing us to prepare meticulously every item on the menu almost to an obsessive level of sophistication. Our food is ever changing, as chef and owner Denis aim to challenge himself constantly to always tweak and improve the taste, looks and texture of every dish. We are serving various imported delicacy, from Carabiniero shrimp of Mallorca island to handpicked A5 wagyu cuts from Japan, dry aged for different periods. We refuse to use any kind of decoration only artifact. Everything must be edible but also flavorful and make sense in the dish. We consider our guest as “Gastronaut”, very aware food enthusiasts that are ready to trust the chef at every bite.
